We are always looking for great local causes to support with our monthly profits. I think I just found one and want to highlight them so that you can support them too, if your resources allow. Unfortunately, their funding has been eliminated under the current political administration.
The Real Majority operates to encourage wholeness for teens through education and encouragement, emphasizing the emotional and physical pitfalls of promiscuity. They are dedicated to “transforming the lives of our teenagers, one good decision at a time.” This is not all rhetoric; they have great results to support their effectiveness. For example, within Cobb county, the teen pregnancy rate is down from 42.6 per thousand in 1997 to 26.2 per thousand in 2007.
