Wel­come to our Dry T-Shirt Contest!

In honor of our 3-year anniver­sary, we have cre­ated a fun, free photo con­test to raise aware­ness about local non-profit organizations. Our $300 grand prize will go to the winner’s favorite char­ity or min­istry, a win-win for all par­ties involved. All that is needed to play is a cam­era (you can even use your cell phone), a good cause to sup­port, a 5 WIVES T-shirt, and a lit­tle imagination.

We have 13 eager con­tes­tants currently.

Rules:

1. Selected charities/ministries must ben­e­fit the local com­mu­nity (Mari­etta, Buck­head, Alpharetta, Mil­ton, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Vir­ginia High­lands, or Atlanta as a whole).

2. Each sub­mit­ted photo must con­tain at least one per­son in a 5 Wives T-shirt and relate to one of more of the five cat­e­gories listed below:

• Week 1 – A Func­tion of 5 WIVES (house-cleaning, gro­cery deliv­ery, admin­is­tra­tive sup­port, errand-running, laundry).
• Week 2 – A Feel­ing of 5 WIVES (peace, joy, love, order, satisfaction).
• Week 3 – Land­marks (in Mari­etta, Buck­head, Alpharetta, Mil­ton, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Vir­ginia High­lands, or greater Atlanta).
• Week 4 – Artistry (focus on color, tex­ture, pat­tern, motion, etc.)
• Week 5 – Last Chance (for all of us procrastinators—anything goes).

3. Our celebrity panel will select one win­ner a week — we will then post the win­ning photo on our web­site with a fea­ture on the winner’s favorite charity/ministry.  Our three judges are a hand­some Hol­ly­wood actor, a beau­ti­ful, pro­fes­sional pho­tographer, and one of our cute wives.

4. Play­ers are not required to sub­mit a photo each week, but the more pho­tos entered, the greater the like­li­hood of winning.

5. At the end of Week 5, the entries of the 5 weekly win­ners will com­pete for the $300 grand prize, which will be awarded to the high­est online vote-getter.

6. Because our busi­ness oper­ates on Chris­t­ian prin­ci­ples, we can­not sup­port a char­ity that runs counter to our values.

How to get a 5 WIVES T-shirt:

Thanks to a very gen­er­ous offer by Kim Smith at Vin­tage Wear­ables, the first T-shirts for this com­pe­ti­tion were free if you ordered by Feb­ru­ary 21st.  If you missed the dead­line for the free shirts, you will need to con­tact Kim to place your order and arrange for pay­ment and delivery.

Our T-shirts are short-sleeved white cot­ton crew­necks with the 5 WIVES logo cen­tered on the front. The fit is slim­mer and trendier than the tra­di­tional thick, boxy cut, so they tend to run small. Please keep this in mind when order­ing. You may dye your shirt or cus­tomize it any way you like, as long as the logo is clearly vis­i­ble in the photo.
